Hurricane Irma Aftermath: Latest Central Florida Power Outages
About 6.5 percent of Florida's homes and businesses were experiencing a power outage as of Sunday morning, down from 10 percent Saturday.

TAMPA, FL — More than 93 percent of all Florida homes and businesses have power six days after Hurricane Irma swept across the length of the state.
Utilities reported that fewer than 700,000 accounts across the state were without power at 6 a.m. Sunday, according to the latest figures from floridadisaster.org. That's down from about 1.1 million accounts Saturday morning.

Hillsborough County: 0 percent remain without power (down from 2 percent).
- Two of Duke Energy's 25 customers (8 percent) were without power as of Sunday morning, down from 12 percent Saturday morning.
- For TECO Energy, zero of its 631,780 customers (0 percent) had no power as of Sunday morning, down from 2 percent Saturday morning.
- Nearly all cooperative customers had power as of Sunday morning.
Polk County: 5 percent remain without power, down from 8 percent.

- Withlacoochee River Electric Cooperative said 12 of its 569 customers had no power as of Sunday morning (2 percent), way down from 4 percent Saturday morning.
- Lakeland Electric said 10,269 customers (8 percent) had no power as of Saturday morning, up from 7 percent Saturday morning.
- Duke Energy said 5,977 of its 100,519 customers (6 percent) were experiencing a power outage as of Sunday morning, down from 9 percent Saturday morning.
- TECO Energy reported that zero of its 85,282 customers (0 percent) had no power as of Sunday morning, down from 9 percent Saturday morning.
Pinellas County: 3 percent remain without power, down from 4 percent Saturday morning.
- Duke Energy said 14,088 of its 540,933 customers (3 percent ) had no power as of Sunday morning, down from 4 percent Saturday morning.
- TECO reported that zero of its 10,984 customers (0 percent) were without power as of Sunday morning, down from from 2 percent Saturday morning.
Pasco County: 3 percent remain without power, no change from Saturday.
- Duke Energy said 808 of its 139,993 customers (1 percent) had no power as of Sunday morning, down from 4 percent Saturday morning.
- Withlacoochee River Electric Cooperative reported that 434 of its 106,230 customers (less than 1 percent) were without power as of Sunday morning, down from 2 percent Saturday morning.
- TECO reported that zero of its 23,836 customers (0 percent) were without power as of Sunday morning, down from 3 percent Saturday morning.
Hernando County: 2 percent remain without power, down from 4 percent Saturday morning.
- Duke Energy said 748 of its 11,341 (7 percent) had no power as of Sunday morning, way down from 10 percent Saturday morning.
- Withlacoochee River Electric Cooperative said 1,608 of its 83,412 customers (2 percent) were without power as of Sunday morning, down from 2 percent Saturday morning.

Manatee County: 9 percent remain without power, down from 12 percent Saturday morning.
- Florida Power & Light said 16,690 of its 184,900 customers (10 percent) had no power as of Sunday morning, down from 14 percent Saturday morning.
Sarasota County: 13 percent remain without power.
- Florida Power & Light said 33,550 of its 263,800 customers (13 percent) had no power as of Sunday morning, down from 17 percent Saturday morning.
TECO maintains that essentially all of its customers will have service by Monday, though it might take longer to restore service to some customers.

Florida Power & Light estimated that it will restore power to essentially all of its customers along Florida's east coast by Monday. FPL said it expects to restore power by Sept. 22 for its west coast customers.
