I-275 Detour Planned Wednesday Night

Motorists with late-night travel plans may want to choose a new route Wednesday if their normal route takes them north on Interstate 275 in the Lois Avenue area.

The Florida Department of Transportation has announced that I-275 north from Lois Avenue to the Dale Mabry Highway exit will be closed for a few hours starting around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Traffic will be routed off the interstate at Lois Avenue, detoured south on Lois, east on State Road 60 and north on Dale Mabry Highway, DOT officials say.

The road is expected to reopen around 2:30 a.m. Thursday.
