It's Safe to Swim at Davis Island Beach Again
A health advisory was lifted Wednesday after water testing found the levels of bacteria was satisfactory.
A health advisory issued for swimmers at Davis Island Beach has been lifted, officials said Wednesday.
The Hillsborough County Health Department after a test of water samples taken June 4 found higher levels of harmful bacteria than recommended by the Environmental Protection Agency.
Follow-up testing was "satisfactory," health officials said Wednesday.

An advisory in place for the Ben T. Davis South beach was also lifted Wednesday.
Davis Island Beach is home to a dog park.
