Jingle Ball 2015: What Parents Need to Know
Amalie Arena officials have announced a few things concert goers – especially parents – need know.

TAMPA, FL – Music lovers preparing to converge on Tampa’s Amalie Arena for 93.3 FLZ’s Jingle Ball need to know a few things before they head out Saturday.
To make sure concert goers and any parents planning to drop off kids are well informed, arena officials released a few tips on Friday. Here are just a few things people need to know:
Showtime
The doors to the arena open at 6:30 p.m. with the concert starting at 7:30 p.m.

The Lineup
Jingle Ball features such performers as Demi Lovato, Nick Jonas and 5 Seconds of Summer this year. To check on ticket availability, visit Ticketmaster online.
Security
Security searches will be conducted on all ticketed and non-ticketed guests. This is the arena’s standard policy.

Traffic and Parking
Arena officials say to expect heavy traffic. That means arriving early is well advised.
Advanced parking passes can be purchased at the McDonald’s box office and online at http://www.amaliearena.com/plan-your-visit/parking.
Cameras
Small, point-and-shoot models are allowed, but flash photography is not. Cameras with detachable lenses are also not permitted. Video and audio recording devices, selfie sticks and GoPro cameras are also prohibited.
Where Parents Can Hang Out
The arena has announced it will provide an indoor place for non-ticketed parents to chill during the concert. The indoor waiting area will also open at 6:30 p.m. and will have coffee, water and light snacks available. Parents do not need a ticket to take advantage of the waiting area.
