Largo Motorcyclist Killed When Thrown Off I-275 Overpass
A 51-year-old Largo man was killed Wednesday, Feb. 21, when he was thrown off his motorcycle and fell off the Interstate 275 overpass.

TAMPA, FL -- A 51-year-old Largo man was killed Wednesday, Feb. 21, when he was thrown off his motorcycle and fell off the Interstate 275 overpass at Lois Avenue in Tampa.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at about 2:50 a.m. Verlon John McDonald was riding his 2007 Suzuki motorcycle south on I-275 when he lost control. The motorcycle swerved to the left shoulder and collided with a guardrail. Troopers say McDonald was thrown off the overpass, landing on Lois Avenue.
