Here are the top stories today in Tampa:
1. Today, Oct. 11, is the last day to register to vote for the upcoming Nov. 8 general election. To register to vote, applicants will need a state driver's license or ID card, the issued date of said identification, and the last four digits of their social security number. (Creative Loafing Tampa)
2. Tampa Police Chief Mary O'Connor says the police department is "not leaving any stone unturned" in the search for a shooter who allegedly killed one person and injured six people this past weekend in downtown Tampa. Tampa Police is asking the public for help locating the suspect. (WTSP)
3. Lawyers for Howell Donaldson III, the man accused of killing four people in Seminole Heights back in 2017, have asked for the four murders to be combined into one trial instead of four separate cases. The request is a reversal of a previous move by the defense to separate the trials. (ABC Action News)
4. Bearss Groves, located at 14316 Lake Magdalene Blvd., is hosting a fall celebration on Oct. 12 with a massive 969-pound pumpkin. Visitors will be able to grab a photo with the giant pumpkin, which is originally from Michigan. (That's So Tampa)
5. All for Transportation has released a list of the most dangerous intersections in Hillsborough County, utilizing data from Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office. All of the intersections are along U.S. Highway 301. (Florida Politics)
