MacDill Avenue Northbound Lane To Close Until May 10
Beginning at 9 a.m. Monday, May 6, the outside northbound lane on South MacDill Avenue will be closed between Platt and Kennedy.
TAMPA, FL -- Beginning at 9 a.m. Monday, May 6, the outside northbound lane on South MacDill Avenue will be closed between West Platt Street and West Kennedy Boulevard.
The Tampa Water Department will be performing distribution system maintenance in the area through Friday, May 10, replacing several valves. Multiple contractors will be conducting the work and multiple customers will be impacted.
The work will be conducted throughout this extended period in order to minimize the impact to the affected customers. Barricades and signs will be located in the area to assist with traffic flow.

Please use caution when driving in the area. Modifications may be necessary during the course of the work.The completion of all of the work, including the roadway restoration and a return to normal traffic patterns, is expected by 5 p.m. Friday, May 10.
Work completion schedules are contingent upon weather conditions.
