Man Fatally Stabbed During Fight In Tampa

TAMPA, FL — A man was fatally stabbed during a fight in Tampa early Friday morning, according to police.

Officers with the Tampa Police Department responded to a home in the 8700 block of Mandarine Place after receiving a call about an altercation at the residence. When police arrived, they found a man suffering from multiple stab wounds.

The man was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Investigators later determined the stabbing stemmed from a fight between two people who knew each other, police said.

The other person involved in the altercation is cooperating with police, authorities said.

The incident remains under investigation.
