Rapper Gunned Down In Tampa Apartment Complex Parking Lot

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is asking anyone with information on the fatal shooting to call.

TAMPA, FL — The man gunned downed in the parking lot of the IQ Apartments has been identified by families members as Ari Williams, 27, a Tampa rapper who went by the name Rollie Bands.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is seeking tips in the shooting that Williams outside the apartment complex at 12708 Bruce B Downs Blvd. in Tampa Friday around 3:30 p.m., according to a sheriff's report.

Detectives said the shooters fled in a vehicle. Williams was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
