Man Killed In Fatal Shooting In Ybor City; Arrest Made
A 21-year-old man has been arrested in a fatal shooting at North 16th Street and East 7th Avenue in Ybor City Sunday morning.

TAMPA, FL — A 21-year-old man has been arrested in a fatal shooting at North 16th Street and East 7th Avenue in Ybor City Sunday morning.
At 2:50 a.m., a fight broke out among several people at the intersection. Multiple Tampa police officers were on the scene at the time, working to clear the crowds as the bars and nightclubs were closing. Officers heard the sound of gunfire and immediately began chasing after a man seen fleeing on foot.
Officers caught the man three blocks south at the intersection of North 16th Street and East 4th Avenue and recovered the gun used in the shooting of a 21-year-old man. The man was struck in the upper body and taken to the hospital where he died.

Jatony Tykeese Torres has been charged with first-degree premeditated murder in addition to a felony charge of carrying a concealed firearm.
Tampa police are trying to identify a second man who was armed and fired a weapon during the fight but there is no indication that he hit anyone.
