Man Killed At Tampa Apartment Complex Identified
One man was killed and another injured during a Monday night shooting at the Gardens at Southbay Apartments.
TAMPA, FL — The Tampa Police Department has identified the victims in a Monday night shooting at the Gardens at Southbay Apartments.
According to the agency, Jamil Marquis Collier, 22, was killed when shots were fired at the 6720 S. Lois Ave. apartments around 7:48 p.m. Cameron Mylik Denson, 17, suffered non-life threatening injuries in the shooting, the agency reported in an email to media.
Few details about the incident are yet available. Police, however, say the shooting does not appear to be random and is believed to have stemmed from an ongoing dispute.

No arrests have been made, but detectives are working leads, the department said.
