Medicare Support Centers Launch At Tampa CVS HealthHUBs
No-cost education and support is available for plan selection and maximizing benefits.

TAMPA, FL CVS — Health (NYSE: CVS) announced it is supporting Medicare consumers and plan seekers by making space available to licensed insurance agents offering free Medicare enrollment advice and assistance through Medicare Support Centers, which recently launched in select CVS® HealthHUB locations in the Tampa area.
Currently, the federal Medicare program covers the health care costs of more than 60 million seniors and non-elderly adults with long-term disabilities, and is anticipated to expand in 2022, with 7.8 percent year-over-year growth.
Oct. 15 marked the beginning of this year’s Medicare Annual Enrollment Period (AEP), which is when consumers can enroll in or disenroll from a Medicare plan. AEP runs until Dec. 7 and enrollments during this time are effective Jan. 1, 2022.

The Medicare enrollment process can often be overwhelming, especially for first-time eligible Medicare consumers, and a licensed agent can help with questions of eligibility, timing of choices and financial costs, including penalties for late enrollment.
To make AEP easier for seniors and their caregivers and help safeguard their health and financial wellbeing, Medicare Support Centers in select CVS HealthHUB locations provide no-cost, one-on-one Medicare education, guidance and year-round support to ensure Medicare beneficiaries have the confidence to choose the right Medicare plan and the knowledge to get the most out of it.

Once health care needs are understood, the agents walk individuals through appropriate plan options, explaining costs, coverage and enrollment details. In-store agents are local community members who are plan-agnostic, ensuring that individuals receive reliable, relevant, Medicare advice that is tailored to their needs.
Licensed insurance agents are available in person from through Dec. 7 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Telephone appointments are also available.
To plan for a Medicare Support Center visit, individuals should prepare a list of their or their loved one’s doctors and prescriptions, and, if they are already enrolled in Medicare, bring their ID card.

- 8905 Bryan Dairy Road, Largo
- 2322 Land O’Lakes Blvd., Lutz
