TAMPA, FL — Tampa General Hospital ushered in the hospital’s first baby of 2022 at 4:52 a.m. Jan. 1.

Alec Zaim Cardona came into the world at 6 pounds, 13 ounces and 20 inches long.

The baby boy was delivered by certified nurse midwife Louisa Francis and registered nurse Aloha Billstone-Winner.
