'Little Tator Tot' Baby Rhino At Busch Gardens Named Viazi: Video
Busch Gardens fans were invited to cast votes to name the newest baby at the theme park, a near-threatened southern white rhino.

TAMPA, FL — The name sounds more dignified in the Swahili language than it does in English. Nevertheless, the animal care team at Busch Gardens said it's an appropriate moniker for the newborn southern white rhino who's a bundle of energy and full of personality.
By a vote of Busch Gardens fans, the rhino calf born earlier this month has been named Viazi, which means "potato" in Swahili.
The animal care team members, however, have begun referring to the baby rhino, who's won their hearts, as the "Little Tator Tot."

"Thank you so much to everyone who voted and helped to name the new baby rhino," Busch Gardens posted on its Facebook page. "We are thrilled to have such an energetic little guy on the Serengeti and can’t wait to see him grow."
The posting includes a video of Viazi enthusiastically racing across the 65-acre Serengeti Plain at the theme park on short, stubby legs.

While Busch Gardens prefers to allow newborns to spend time with their moms before introducing them to the other animals and spectators, there was no stopping the exuberant baby rhino who was eager to explore his world.
The 150-pound rhino tot is the second calf born to Kisiri.
