Northern Trust Corp. To Move To Water Street Tampa Office Tower

TAMPA, FL — Northern Trust Corp., a leading provider of wealth management, asset servicing, asset management and banking services, has committed to leasing more than 10,000 square feet on the ninth floor of the new trophy office tower, Thousand & One in Water Street Tampa.

The firm expects to move into the building in the coming months.

Northern Trust is relocating to Thousand & One from its current office on North Florida Avenue in downtown Tampa.

Designed by renowned architecture firm COOKFOX, Thousand & One employs a wellness-oriented, indoor-outdoor office environment meant to promote well-being and increase productivity among tenants.

Thousand & One features floor-to-ceiling windows, flexible floorplates, a shared rooftop terrace and open-air conference room, an employee fitness center, town hall space and nine double-height terraces that maximize natural light and air.

The building is also home to several ground-floor retailers, including Naked Farmer and Boulon Brasserie, as well as an adjacent plaza that offers additional access to the outdoors during the workday.

The tower is WiredScore Platinum and LEED Silver-certified, and anticipates receiving WELL Core and Shell certification, a first for the region.
