Pam Bondi Endorses Donald Trump
Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi gave her endorsement during a Monday rally in Tampa.
TAMPA, FL — Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi has thrown her support behind Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential race.
Bondi’s official endorsement came live during Trump’s Monday rally in Tampa.
“We live in a changing world and we need leadership,” Bondi told the crowd gathered at the Tampa Convention Center. “We need someone who is unafraid to lead and restore America to its greatness. Today, I am proud to endorse Donald Trump.”

Bondi explained she has long been friends with Trump and has seen firsthand his relationship with his family and the “admiration his staff in New York has for him. That speaks volumes.”
Bondi, a Tampa native, also said her mother is a staunch Trump supporter.

"I always listen to my mom," Bondi said. "My mom is with Donald Trump and so am I."
Florida voters head to the polls Tuesday for the Presidential Preference Primary. Trump led the Republicans in the latest Sunshine State polls and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton had the lead on the Democrat side.
