Partial Closure Of West Swann Avenue Begins Tuesday

TAMPA, FL — At 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Tampa utilities department crews will close a portion of West Swann Avenue between South MacDill Avenue and South Armenia Avenue to repair a wastewater mainline pipe.

Detours for westbound traffic will begin at South Armenia Avenue and detours for eastbound traffic will begin at South MacDill Avenue.

Signage and barricades will be on-site to assist with traffic flow and rerouting.

This repair will be completed by close of business on Thursday, Aug. 12, weather permitting.

An update will be provided should the repair schedule be delayed.

The city of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternative routes to avoid traffic congestion.
