Pedestrian Dies After Being Hit By SUV On U.S. 41: FL Highway Patrol
A Tampa man died Sunday night after being hit by an SUV while crossing U.S. 41, FL Highway Patrol said.
HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL — A Tampa man died Sunday night after being hit by an SUV while crossing U.S. 41, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release.
The SUV, driven by a 59-year-old Riverview man, was traveling south on the highway, just south of 12th Avenue S., just before 9 p.m.
The 66-year-old man was hit after stepping into the path of the SUV, FHP said.
