Plant's Daniel Schouler Commits to University of Montevallo

H.B. Plant High School’s senior attackman, Daniel Schouler, has committed to be part of the Division II University of Montevallo’s men’s lacrosse team. The Falcons will welcome Daniel as part of the incoming 2019 freshman class, playing in the in the Great Lakes Valley Conference, one of the most respected conferences nationally in NCAA Division II.

Schouler, a 3-year varsity letterman for the Panthers, has played club lacrosse for the Tampa Tarpons, West Florida, South Tampa Sticks, and South Tampa Shoremen.

I’d also like to express my gratitude to the rest of my family, friends and Panther teammates for all their support. Without a doubt I appreciate Coaches Todd Francis, Calder Alfano, Andrew Knust, Jayne Chapman, and Greg Meshurel for sharing their knowledge and love of the game with me. I am truly blessed and can’t wait for the next chapter of my life to begin, playing for Coach Lange and representing the Montevallo Falcons.”

The University of Montevallo Men’s Lacrosse Team currently features student-athletes from all across North America; a very diverse group with young men from 15 different states and Canadian provinces. It is a four-year public university located in Montevallo, Alabama. Founded in 1896, it is Alabama's only public liberal arts college and a member of the Council of Public Liberal Arts Colleges.
