Popular Tampa Rapper Among 2 Killed In Shootings Tuesday
Rapper Nina Ross da Boss leaves behind six children.
TAMPA, FL -- Her birth certificate lists her as Jimmiel Spillman-Ingram. But to the fans mourning her death, she'll always be Nina Ross Da Boss.
The Tampa rapper was one of two people killed Tuesday following a shooting in the 8700 block of North Tangerine Place in North Tampa.
The 31-year-old performer left behind six children, the youngest just 2 months old and the oldest 11 years old.

In a genre dominated by males, Spillman-Ingram had attracted a substantial fan base. Her Instagram page has nearly 38,000 followers. Those fans are now posting tributes to the rapper and prayers for her children.
Detectives have been investigating the shootings since the 911 call came in at 10:51 p.m. Tuesday.

Spillman-Ingram and an unidentified man were in a car when they were shot and killed. The car crashed into a home (see related story).
