Postal Worker Charged in Christmas Shooting Death

He was arrested late Sunday evening.

A 19-year-old Tampa man faces second-degree murder charges following a Christmas Day shooting.

According to the Tampa Police Department, a dispute over a small amount of marijuana led to the fatal shooting of Emmanuel Richardson, 25, of 4603 N. 26th St., Apt. A.

During the course of the investigation, police identified a postal worker as the prime suspect, an email to media stated.

James Allen Wade of 3202 N. 22nd St., Apt. D, was brought into custody Sunday night at the Postal Service’s 3505 Bessie Coleman Blvd. property.

He now faces second-degree murder charges.

Wade was being held without bond in the Hillsborough County Jail Monday morning.
