Pregnancy Center Celebrates Opening Of New Tampa Location

TAMPA, FL — Foundations of Life Pregnancy Center in Hillsborough County is celebrating the move to its new, more spacious and accessible location at 6845 N. Dale Mabry Highway in Tampa.

At this new location, Foundations of Life will continue its work of providing free services to women who are either pregnant or believe they may be pregnant, regardless of income.

These services include free on-site pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, options counseling material and referral services.

A mission of Catholic Charities, the new location also features a baby boutique that includes outfits, wipes, bottles, diapers, pacifiers and toiletries for babies. Donations are always welcome. Click here.

Foundations of Life Pregnancy Center serves pregnant women throughout Tampa Bay including Pasco, Hernando and Pinellas counties. In 2021, Foundations of Life served 1,651 women.

In addition, in September, Foundations of Life introduced its Foundations of Life Pregnancy Center Mobile Medical Unit to reach and serve more low-income women who cannot make it to one of the clinics.

Funded by the Knights of Columbus of the Diocese of St. Petersburg along with Foundations of Life donors, the mobile unit is equipped to perform free pregnancy testing and ultrasounds.

The Foundations of Life Mobile Medical Unit is parked every Monday of the month at the following locations:

• First Monday of the month- La Esperanza Clinic, Wimauma
• Second Monday of the month- San Jose Mission, Dover
• Third Monday of the month- Pasco Women’s Shelter, Hudson
• Fourth Monday of the month- Pasco Family Shelter, New Port Ritchey
