FLORIDA — Whether you need more jelly beans for the Easter egg hunt or deviled eggs for Easter brunch, rest assured there will be stores open on Easter Day.

Open On Easter

  • Winn-Dixie: Winn-Dixie will be open its regular hours on Easter Sunday.
  • Albertsons: Some locations will be open, but hours will vary. Call ahead to confirm your store’s hours.
  • Safeway: Some Safeway locations will be open on Easter. Shoppers should expect limited hours that vary by location.
  • Save A Lot: Save A Lot locations will be open on Easter Sunday. However, hours will vary by store, so shoppers should check ahead at their preferred location.
  • Sprouts: Sprouts Farmers Market will be open on Easter Sunday. However, hours may vary by location so check ahead.
  • Trader Joe’s: Trader Joe’s stores will be open on Easter Sunday. However, hours will be reduced with locations closing by 5 p.m.
  • Whole Foods: Whole Foods stores will be open on Easter. The only day that Whole Foods stores close completely is on Christmas.
  • CVS: Expect 24-hour locations to remain open (other locations’ hours will vary). The CVS pharmacy generally closes early on Sundays, regardless.
  • Walgreens: Expect 24-hour Walgreens locations to remain open on Easter, as they do on all major holidays. If you’re picking up a prescription, be sure to check the pharmacy hours, as these will vary from regular store hours.
  • Walmart: Unless it announces otherwise, Walmart will remain open on Easter. Walmart Easter hours are from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. at most locations. Some stores might reduce hours for Easter Sunday. Walmart curbside pickup will close at 8 p.m. on Easter.
  • Big Lots: Big Lots has confirmed it will be open on Easter Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Closed On Easter

  • Aldi: Aldi grocery stores will be closed Easter Sunday
  • Costco: Costco is always closed on Easter, and this year is no different.
  • Sam’s Club: Sam’s Club is always closed on Easter.
  • Target: Target will close on Easter.
  • Publix: Publix locations will be closed on Easter Sunday. In the days leading up to Easter, most locations will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. so you can stock up on your Easter brunch pantry essentials.
  • Earth Fare: Earth Fare also will be closed Easter Sunday, but will be open on Easter Monday.
