Publix, Winn-Dixie, Walmart: New Year 2019 Florida Grocery Hours

FLORIDA -- Grocery shopping probably isn't on your New Year's itinerary but you never know. You might have some last-minute change of plans or remember an ingredient you've forgotten for your New Year's football party or celebratory feast.

If that's the case, you're in luck. Most grocery store and pharmacy chains in Florida will resume normal operating hours on New Year's Day.

* CVS Pharmacy will be open on New Year’s Eve and New Year's Day for normal hours, although pharmacy hours will vary by location.

* Walgreens will have normal hours, and most pharmacies will be open on New Year’s Eve from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The 24-hour locations will stay open as well. Walgreens stores also will be open on New Year’s Day during normal hours, and select pharmacies will be open.

* Target locations will open at its normal time on New Year’s Eve, but check your local store to confirm what time the store will be closing. Target stores will be open from 8 a.m. to midnight on New Year’s Day.

* Walmart will be open on New Year’s Eve and New Year's Day during regular business hours.

* Publix stores will close at 9 p.m. on New Year’s Eve and will open on New Year’s Day at the normal time but will close early so check your local store for closing times.

* Most Albertsons will be open on New Year's Eve and New Year’s Day during normal hours but some will be closing early so check your local store.

* Safeway will be open on New Year’s Eve and New Year's Day during normal hours, but some will close early so check your local store hours.

* Whole Foods Market will be open on New Year's Eve and New Year’s Day, but individual stores may have varying hours.

* Trader Joe’s will close at 6 p.m. on New Year's Eve but will be closed on New Year's Day.

* Winn-Dixie will have normal opening and closing times on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

* The Fresh Market will open at regular times and close at 8 p.m. New Year’s Eve. They will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on New Year’s Day.

* Aldi will be open regular hours on New Year's Eve but will close New Year's Day.
