Riverview Man Killed In Crash On Interstate 75

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL — A Riverview man died Saturday morning following a single-car crash on Interstate 75 in Hillsborough County.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, the 37-year-old man was driving a Honda Fit south on I-75 north of US-301 when he lost control of the car. The vehicle entered the outside shoulder before it rotated and flipped multiple times, police said.

During the crash, the man was ejected from the car and suffered serious injuries.

According to police, the man was taken to a hospital where he later died.
