Heads Up: Area DUI Crackdown Begins Tonight
The Wolfpack Operation includes Pasco and Hillsborough counties and runs overnight to Friday morning.

HILLSBOROUGH and PASCO COUNTIES, FL – The Florida Highway Patrol will kick off tonight a multi-county "Wolfpack Operation" focusing on impaired drivers,
The DUI-enforcement operation, led by Troop K of the Land O’ Lakes Sub-District, begins at 10 p.m. tonight, Thursday, July 21, and extends through Friday at 3 a.m. and will focus on SR-589 (Suncoast Parkway and Veterans Expressway), SR-568 Veterans Expressway and SR-570 (Polk Parkway) in the counties of Hernando, Pasco, Hillsborough and Polk, according to law enforcement.
The FHP is committed to promoting safety for motorists and pedestrians using the public highways and rights-of-way and to provide a deterrent for those who violate the law, the department said.

Motorists are reminded to not drink and drive and to plan in advance for events where alcoholic beverages are
consumed by utilizing designated drivers, taxi services or hold events where driving is not necessary. Should
drivers encounter impaired drivers, they are urged to contact the FHP by calling *FHP (*347).
