Severe Thunderstorm Warning Issued For Hillsborough, Polk Counties
It could produce winds of more than 40 mph and pea-size hail.

TAMPA BAY, FL — The National Weather Service in Tampa Bay has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for areas in Hillsborough and Polk counties.
A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of west central Polk and east central Hillsborough counties until 9 p.m.
The storm was being tracked 8 miles southeast of FishHawk Ranch moving at 15 mph.

Areas impacted include Lakeland, Plant City, Fish Hawk, Lakeland Linder Airport, Medulla, Mulberry, Plant City Airport, Alafia River State Park, Dover, Willow Oak, Lakeland Highlands and Valrico.
