Girl Scout Junior Troop 945 recently earned its Bronze Award – the highest award Girl Scout Juniors (grades 4-5) can earn – by working with the Hillsborough County Transportation Division and Hillsborough County School Board to install a handicap parking space at Roosevelt Elementary in Tampa. The school, built in 1925, did not have a handicap parking space prior to the completion of the troop’s project.
