South Tampa Twins' Fear Factor Episode Pulled over Donkey Semen Stunt

Brynne and Claire Odioso's appearance on the NBC show won't air as planned Monday night because of a controversy over participants eating disgusting items.

Fans who were looking forward to seeing on Monday night's "Fear Factor" will have to wait after the episode was pulled over a stunt involving donkey semen.

NBC has scratched tonight's episode and will instead air a repeat, the Tampa Bay Times' Eric Deggans reports.

There is no word on whether the episode, which required contestants to drink glasses filled with donkey semen and urine, will ever air, Deggans writes.

"We feel no animals were harmed during the stunt, and it is known that animal semen is consumed in parts of the world like Australia and New Zealand," Brynne Odioso told Patch.

She could not discuss further details about the episode but she said that the overall experience was extremely challenging — physically, mentally and emotionally — and that they got to do and experience things that otherwise they would never do.

"We are disappointed because we wanted to share the experience with our family and friends," she said.

The twins are 2007 graduates of the Academy of Holy Names and the daughters of former Tampa Bay Buccaneers public relations director Rick Odioso, whose family had organized a private viewing party at Muvico Centro Ybor for the occasion.

“I am proud of them,” Rick Odioso told Patch before the episode's cancellation. “I think they conducted themselves very well when they were out there.”
