Javic Homes is honored to have Design Interiors as a title partner for the Tampa Southern Living Showcase Home, and it has been a pleasure working with them on the interior design of the home. Design Interiors will be furnishing the main living spaces, including the living and dining areas, as well as adding finishing touches to the grand foyer. They will be using a mixture of colors, primarily blues with hints of tan, taupe and coral to highlight the West Indies style of the home. In addition to a beautiful color palette, they have also added a great deal of texture to the home with a lacquer table, plush sofa and exposed wood in chairs and consoles. A slate blue jute area rug will also serve as a focal point for the dining room.
Mary Jo Polo, the owner of Design Interiors, is just as eager to see the completion of the Showcase Home as we are. “We are really excited to work with Javic Homes on the interior design of The Southern Living Showcase Home. The 5,000 square foot, West Indies style waterfront home will be completed in Spring of 2014 and will feature the latest in new home construction, technology and design. It will be open to the public for six weeks, with proceeds benefitting our non-profit partners - Operation FINALLY Home and All Children’s Hospital.
