Stones Throw Tampa Riverwalk

Enjoy casual waterfront dining

(Tampa Bay Food Tours)

Open just a few weeks Stones Throw is a terrific new option for waterfront dining on the Riverwalk. Diners order via a walk-up counter and then grab a seat at one of the shaded outdoor tables or there is seating at the bar. The view both east and west of the Hillsborough River is spectacular especially at sunset.

Owners B-1 restaurant group are also behind neighboring Steelbach, B & B and M.Bird all located in the Armature Works / Heights Public Market.

The well thought out beverage menu features an array of spirits and refreshing cocktails.

WIMBLEDON SPRITZ Pimm's #1, fresh strawberry, lemon, sparkling rose

Chef Dean Di Ciccio's passion for his new kitchen and menu was evident as we chatted about our meal. The seafood is expertly prepared, fresh and delicious.

PEEL N EAT SHRIMP $ 13 chilled, cocktail sauce, key lime mustard, lemon

The shrimp were perfectly poached, the shell is split and the shrimp deveined making this my favorite new peel and eat option. We all loved the house made key lime mustard dipping sauce.

GRILLED OYSTERS $11 garlic butter, bacon, jalapeno, parsley, cheddar

Our group all agreed Stones Throw is throwing down some tasty oysters.

FISH SPREAD $10 smoked mahi, house giardiniera, crackers, lemon

When we asked the chef Dean about the giardiniera with the fish spread he told us he loves using the house made marinated veggies in unconventional dishes. The accompanying fried tortillas were toasty warm and provided a unique canvas to enjoy the fish dip.

FRITO PIE $8 bag o’ chips, chili, cheddar, sour cream, jalapeños

A crunchy and flavorful non seafood option that was thoroughly enjoyed.

LOBSTER ROLL $19 brioche, mayo, lemon, tarragon, dill crunchies

If you plan on strolling the Riverwalk before or after your visit you can get to take away beverage via a Riverwalk cup. Plenty of great neighbors to visit and explore. Armature Works and Ulele are a "stones throw" away.

With spectacular views and location, amazing food and drinks and reasonable prices Stones Throw is destined to become a local and visitor favorite.
