Support Local Restaurants During Coronavirus Crisis

TAMPA BAY, FL — "We're all in this together" has become the mantra of businesses throughout Tampa Bay, many of which could face financial ruin during the coronavirus outbreak without the community's support.

To help shore up Tampa Bay restaurants, which are no longer able to offer on-site dining services, and provide residents some tasty meal choices as they shelter at home, Patch will highlight restaurants offering pickup and delivery services.

Saffron Indian Cuisine

Mellow Mushroom

In addition to its regular menu items of salads, pizzas, calzones, hoagies and more, Mellow Mushroom Pizza Bakers is offering beer, wine and spirits for curbside pickup and take-out orders. Sales are offered to those 21 years and older.

BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse at Westfield Citrus Park mall, Westfield Countryside mall and 25628 State Road 56 in Lutz is offering takeout and delivery only Sunday through Monday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Guests can order online via the BJ's app or website, including "Touchless" takeout. Orders made through the BJ's app and website will also have waived delivery fees through the end of April with any $19.95 purchase. Plus, use the promo code "PIZOOKIE" for a free Pizookie.

For a limited time, BJ's is offering Half-Off Large Pizzas, $6 Take-Home Entrees (with a $9.95 purchase) prepared chilled, ready to be heated when you get home, six packs of BJ's Beer and $10 bottles of wine (where available). P.F. Chang's

P.F. Chang's at Westfield Countryside mall, Westfield Brandon mall and 219 Westshore Plaza is offering takeout and delivery only daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

P.F. Chang's has family meals for four or six people, wine to go and its full menu online. Receive free delivery for orders over $25.

Red Robin

Red Robin is offering takeout and delivery only Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Red Robin is offering 20 percent off all curbside pickup and delivery orders with promo code "20off." Delivery and takeout orders will be taken until 6:30 p.m. Free delivery is available.

Red Robin is located at Westfield Brandon, Westfield Citrus Park and Westfield Countryside malls, the Shops at Wiregrass in Wesley Chapel and Tyrone Square mall in St. Petersburg.

Whiskey Cake Kitchen & Bar

Whiskey Cake Kitchen & Bar, located on Bay Street at International Plaza, is offering quarantine kits for the community at a discounted price. These kits allow customers to order via phone and pick up at the Whiskey Cake location.
A $55 quarantine kit includes:

Little Greek Fresh Grill, a fast-casual Greek restaurant with an American influence, will focus on takeout, curbside service and delivery.

Walkabout Bakery & Eatery

Walkabout Bakery & Eatery, 18430 Livingston Ave., Lutz, continues to serve up all Aussie favorites through drive-through takeout and delivery via Uber Eats.

To support the efforts to combat the impact of the coronavirus, the restaurant has closed its dining room, limited its hours to 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and reduced its staff.

The Walkabout Eatery menu favorites include the traditional meat pie (minced meat, onions, spices and a savory gravy wrapped in homemade pastry) and sausage rolls (ground pork and the perfect blend of spices and Worcestershire in a puff pastry).

Right now, both meat pies and sausage rolls are available for bulk order (six for $30).

Southern Style Cafe And BBQ

Southern Style Cafe And BBQ, 37938 Meridian Ave., Dade City, is offering curbside pickup from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The restaurant offers Southern-style specials like meatloaf, mashed potatoes and mac and cheese or pulled pork sandwich and chips for $6. Call ahead at 352-437-5425.
