T-Mobile Provides 5G Wireless Speed Leading Up To Super Bowl

T-Mobile has quietly been pouring millions of dollars into Tampa's local infrastructure in the run to the Super Bowl.

TAMPA, FL — From Raymond James Stadium to the Tampa International Airport, T-Mobile has quietly been pouring millions of dollars into Tampa’s local infrastructure in the run to the Super Bowl.

Thanks to T-Mobile's team of local network engineers, much of Tampa Bay is now blanketed in fast 5G wireless speeds. 5G is the technology that will power autonomous cars, telesurgery, drone deliveries, smoother e-learning and more. And this infrastructure is permanent, further setting Tampa apart as a growing tech hub for years to come.

The service is now available in prominent areas of Tampa like the downtown core — including the new Water Street development, at Julian B. Lane Park and along the Tampa Riverwalk. Customers in Hyde Park, historic Ybor City and in surrounding cities like St. Petersburg, Clearwater and Dade City can also now enjoy this faster 5G experience.
