Take Three Café is now closed, concept put up for sale
Owner, Stephen Schab, is selling the concept that was once Little Donut House and then Take Three Café.

Last year, Little Donut House in Westshore rebranded to Take Three Café as the owners aimed to focus on a restaurant serving food besides just miniature donuts. That cafe has now closed and the concept is now for sale. Owner, Stephen Schab, sent out this statement to the press:
"Hello,
Over the years we have adapted to the market bringing our customers what they were looking for. First mini donuts, then breakfast, then lunch. We were so excited for our most recent change “Take Three Café”. A modern fast casual café with mini donuts and great coffee. Get a Take Three Brunch or Take Three Lunch! Endless number of combinations, so much so that you can eat here every day for 64 years straight and never eat the same combo twice! Who would get sick of gourmet breakfast sandwiches, flatbreads, sandwich melts, salads, soups, mac n cheese, and much more.

Sadly, building Take Three ran over budget and well over its intended timeline to launch. Despite testing extremely well with customers, I don’t have the required capital to turn this new concept into a truly successful brand. By changing the name, we lost some foot traffic, that will require capital and some time to get back. Additionally, having dedicated nearly 4 years of my life to this company, it is time for me to fulfill my commitments to my family and pursue other ventures. It was always my goal to have this up and running on its own years ago, even with great promise, it will take too long to restart under the new name.
Although I have run out of time and capital, this concept is far from dead. We have had growth every year, I believe with a fresh infusion of marketing capital and fresh energy, this Take Three concept could become the multi-unit concept I always envisioned. With processes, procedures, equipment, and recipes in place, it just needs some gasoline to catch real fire.

I thank the community for all your support over the years and giving me an opportunity to live out my entrepreneurial dream.
If anyone is interested in making Take Three Café the main stream brand it can be they can call me at 813-841-0034. I would love to see someone else run with all we have built and make it a success. The Take Three Café concept is for sale."
