Tampa's Redlands Grill A Prime Spot For Prime Rib
Tampa Bay Food Tours spotlights Redlands Grill.

TAMPA, FL -- Re-branded from the J. Alexander moniker, Redlands Grill has been a go-to spot for a great meal for years.
The restaurant was founded in 1991 by current CEO Lonnie Stout and Chief Operating Officer Mike Moore who say their goal has always been to be a chef-driven, boutique-style restaurant emphasizing high-quality food and professional service.
Although Redlands specializes in superior steaks, don't overlook its fresh paneed or hardwood grilled featured seafood dishes.

We always go for the slow-roasted, aged Midwestern prime rib served with Redlands' unique take on mashed potatoes called "smashed Potatoes," so I am going to start with the mouth-watering money shot.

The dining room is comfortable and inviting.

Call it stuck in a rut or knowing your favorites, we always order the Spinach Con Queso served with warm tortilla chips and salsa.

The Redlands Salad with bacon, cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers and croutons is also a favorite.

The open kitchen affords a view of the action. The chef in the foreground is holding a plate of Redlands' fire-grilled artichokes seasoned with herb butter and served with remoulade.

It is always wonderful to have a consistent spot to enjoy a meal that meets expectations every time. Redlands Grill never disappoints. It is located at 913 N. Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa, and is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Here's the link to the complete menu.
