To honor the sacrifices of military veterans, Tampa Bay businesses are offering free and discounted deals on Veterans Day.

TAMPA BAY, FL — To honor the sacrifices of military veterans, Tampa Bay businesses are offering free and discounted deals on Veterans Day.

  • Keel & Curley Winery at Keel Farms, 5210 Thonotosassa Road, Plant City, is inviting veterans to drop by on Monday, Nov. 11 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. for a free meal and drink with a valid military ID. 11th from 11am-9pm to receive a free meal and drink - just bring a valid military I.D.
  • La Mordida Restaurant Bar & Grill, 14100 U.S. 19 N., Suite 114, Clearwater, will offer all veterans a free empanada and a cup of coffee on Monday from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Join J9, a female disabled Air Force veteran will host a free pop-up yoga class for veterans followed by a discussion on the issues facing the nation's women veterans on Monday, Nov. 11 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park, 600 N. Ashley Drive, Tampa. Bring a mat and water. For information, contact J9 at 401-207-5262.
  • Empower Adventures Tampa Bay, 423 Lafayette Blvd., Oldsmar, will host a free ultimate mini-adventure for veterans Monday, Nov. 11 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Empower Adventures features two zip lines totaling more than 1,200 feet and a 200-foot suspension bridge. Call 813-448-5635 to book a free reservation. Proof of service will be required upon check-in. The cost for addition guests is $30.
  • Veterans and active-duty military will receive a free dine-in entrée off of Applebee’s special menu with seven entrees on Veterans Day. Items include the Bacon Cheeseburger and Fiesta Lime Chicken. Since 2008, Applebee’s has served 9.8 million free meals on Veterans Day. The offer is dine-in only.
  • On Veterans Day, California Pizza Kitchen is offering a free meal to veterans from a limited menu that includes six pizzas, four full-size salads or three pasta dishes. The offer is dine-in only.
  • Chili’s is offering veterans and active-duty military a free entrée from a menu of seven entrees, including the Just Bacon Burger and Chicken Crispers. The offer is dine-in only.
  • The Hillsborough Area Regional Transit Authority is offering free rides to all members of the armed services, both active and retired, and their family members or dependents on Veterans Day. Customers will be asked to show a valid military or veterans ID.
  • Don't forget. The Pasco County Public Transit system is offering free bus service to active-duty military and veterans all year.
  • Veterans can enjoy a free double chocolate fudge Coca-Cola cake or a pumpkin pie latte at Cracker Barrel.
  • All vets and active-duty military can come into any Denny's from 5 a.m. to noon to enjoy a complementary Build Your Own Grand Slam.
  • Vets and active-duty military can get a free doughnut of their choice at participating Dunkin Donuts locations on Monday.
  • Golden Corral is offering current and active-duty military and reservists a free meal at the buffet.
  • Little Caesars is offering a free pizza meal lunch of four slices and a 20-ounce beverage to veterans and active-duty military from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday.
  • Winn-Dixie is offering an 11 percent discount to all veterans and active military service members Monday on all qualifying grocery purchases with a valid military ID.
  • Busch Gardens and SeaWorld theme parks are offering 30 to 50 percent discounts off tickets for veterans and active members of the military on Veterans Day and throughout the year. To qualify for this promotion, guests must be registered with ID.me.
  • On Veterans Day, all retired and active-duty military can receive two free general admission tickets to The Florida Aquarium, 701 Channelside Drive. Additional guests (up to four people) can receive a 50 percent discount on a general admission ticket.
  • The Clearwater Marine Aquarium, 249 Windward Passage, Clearwater, is offering veterans free admission and 50 percent off admission for up to four guests on Sunday, Nov. 10 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Monday, Nov. 11 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Frida's Cafe & Bakery, 9700 Ulmerton Road, Largo, will offer all veterans a free doughnut on Monday.
  • 22nd Street Coffee, 208 N. 22nd St., Tampa, will offer anyone with a military ID a free drip coffee and Cuban toast on Veterans Day.
  • Duffy's Sports Grill is honoring veterans and military members with 40 percent off food purchases all day, Monday, Nov. 11. Valid ID required. Duffy's is located at 1580 N. Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa.
  • Glazer Children's Museum, 110 W. Gasparilla Plaza, is offering free admission for veterans and active-duty military Monday.
  • Red Lobster is offering a free appetizer or dessert on Veterans Day.
  • The James Museum of Western & Wildlife Art, 150 Central Ave., St Petersburg, is offering free admission to veterans and active-duty military on Monday.
  • Ker’s WingHouse Bar and Grill in Brandon, Clearwater, New Port Richey, Palm Harbor, Pinellas Park, Tampa and Wesley Chapel is offering a free meal from a select menu for veterans and active-duty military on Veterans Day.
  • Legoland Florida in Winter Haven is offering veterans free admission through Nov. 25. Veterans can also purchase theme park tickets for up to six guests at a 50 percent discount on the same dates.
  • Spaddy’s Coffee Co., 6102 S. MacDill Ave., and 5206 N. Florida Ave., Tampa, will offer free coffee and 50 percent off smoothie cards for all veterans and military on Veterans Day.
  • United Skates, 5121 N. Armenia Ave., is offering free admission for active and veteran military personnel with a valid military ID (for up to four people) on Monday.
  • Olive Garden is offering a Veterans Day free meal for all active-duty military and veterans on Monday.
  • Outback Steakhouse is offering military personnel and veterans with military IDs a free Bloomin' Onion and Coke product on Monday. Outback Steakhouse is also giving out a discount of 20 percent off the total check Nov. 10-11 for military, police, firefighters and first responders with a valid ID.
  • Texas Roadhouse will give away Veterans Day free meals for lunch on Monday to active, former or retired military.
  • Red Robin is offering a free Red's Tavern Double Burger and Bottomless steak Fries to veterans and active-duty military on Veterans Day.
  • IHOP will honor veterans and active military members with the choice of a free breakfast combo or a free stack of Red, White and Blueberry pancakes on Veterans Day.
  • Buffalo Wild Wings is offering veterans and active-duty military a free order of small boneless or traditional wings and a side of fries.
  • TCBY at Mitchell Ranch Plaza, 3140 Little Road in Trinity, will offer a free 6-ounce frozen yogurt to veterans on Monday.
  • Great Clips will offer a free haircut or a free haircut card to use later on Veterans Day for active-duty military or veterans. The cards can be redeemed for a free haircut from Nov. 12 to Dec. 31 at any Great Clips salon.
  • Veterans and active military will get a free plate of barbecue during a Veterans Day Barbecue Monday starting from noon to 4 p.m. at Caddy’s Gulfport, 3128 Beach Blvd. S, Gulfport.
  • Active-duty and retired military members get 20 percent off their bill through Monday at Bartaco, 1601 W Snow Ave., Tampa.
  • Active and retired service members with a valid military ID get a free appetizer including mussels Josephine, calamari, Imperial Dip and Bang Bang Shrimp on Monday at Bonefish Grill.
  • Active and retired military with valid military ID get half off at all Metro Diner locations on Monday.
  • Carrabba’s Italian Grill is offering a free calamari with any purchase to all veterans, active military, police officers and firefighters with a valid military ID through Monday. All restaurants also offer 10 perfect off to active and retired service members.
  • Smokey Bones Bar & Fire Grill will offer a free dessert for active-duty and retired military members on Monday, dine-in only. Smokey Bones also offers a 10 percent military discount every day with valid ID.
  • Sonny’s BBQ is offering a free Pork Big Deal Combo for veterans and active-duty military with a valid ID on Monday, dine in only.
