Tampa Bay Gas Prices: How Low Will They Go?
Find out how to cash in on the cheapest prices in the Tampa Bay area.

TAMPA, FL — The price Americans are paying at the pump has dropped to a low of $1.97 for a gallon on average across the country.
That figure was reported by AAA Monday morning. It represents the cheapest national average price recorded by the company since March 23, 2009. With oil prices dropping and refinery capacity high, some experts say those prices could fall lower, much lower. A low of near $1 a gallon is possible, Click Orlando reported.
Whether that low of a price will be realized remains to be seen, but experts at AAA say Tampa Bay area motorists have plenty to celebrate right now.
