Tampa Bay Times names GTE Financial 2018 Top Workplace in Tampa

Charity, culture, and a great work/life balance are among the many benefits that make GTE Financial one of Tampa Bay’s best places to work for the second year in a row. The Tampa Bay Times, in partnership with Energage, named the credit union a 2018 Top Workplace.

We’re very grateful for our employees who work hard daily and give so much back to the communities we serve,” said Jasiel Legon, Chief Talent Officer of GTE Financial. “Every day we strive to make a work environment that our employees love being a part of.”
In the Tampa Bay region, nearly 190 leading employers were nominated by their employees. GTE placed 12th in the Large Category, placing the credit union in the list of Top 20 Large Workplaces in Tampa Bay.

Energage surveyed thousands of employees from across Tampa Bay. These responses formed the basis of The Top Workplaces. This award is indeed a testament to the positive work environment and community focus that GTE Financial fosters for its team.
