Ho Ho Ho; Tampa's In The Christmas Spirit
Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park has been transformed with the sights, sounds and activities of the holidays.
TAMPA, FL -- While chances of snowfall in Tampa this holiday season are slim to none, residents can still enjoy a winter wonderland at the Winter Village at Curtis Hixon Park.
Located along the Tampa Riverwalk, Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park has been transformed with the sights, sounds and activities of the holidays.
Open until Jan. 5, the Winter Village at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park features entertainment, shows, holiday crafts, food vendors and a 5,000-square-foot ice rink.

New this year is the Winter Village Express, which will allow patrons to board a TECO Line Streetcar for a holiday-themed ride through the city. Riders can board the street car at Whiting Station or Centro Ybor. The ride will be offered on Sundays through Dec. 23. The $5 trip includes treats, music and activities.

Sunday, Dec. 9 at 11 a.m. -- 100th anniversary Blessing of the Building and Santa Lucia Ceremony at the Italian Club in Ybor City
Sunday, Dec. 16 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. -- Jingle Bell Bazaar at Centennial Park in Ybor City
Saturday, Dec. 22 from 6 to 8 p.m. -- Holiday Lighted Boat Parade in downtown Tampa
Sunday, Dec. 23 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Christimas is Near event at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park.
