Tampa Family Health Centers Named Winn-Dixie Program Beneficiary
The Winn-Dixie Community Bag Program will empower TFHC to continuously provide its patients with the highest quality care.

Tampa, FL — Tampa Family Health Centers (TFHC) has been selected as a beneficiary of the Winn-Dixie Community Bag Program for the month of June 2020. The program, which launched in February 2019, empowers customers to make a difference in the communities they live and work in while helping the environment.
TFHC was selected as a beneficiary by store leadership at the Winn-Dixie located at 13508 N. Florida Ave. in Tampa. The organization will receive a $1 donation each time a $2.50 reusable Community Bag is purchased at this store location in June, unless otherwise directed by the customer through the giving tag attached to the bag. The specially designed reusable bags are made from recycled materials, and can be found at registers and on the reusable bag rack at this Winn-Dixie store location.
“Tampa Family Health Centers is honored to be selected as a beneficiary of the Winn-Dixie Community Bag Program,” said Sherry Hoback, president and chief executive officer of TFHC. “During these times of uncertainty caused by COVID-19, it’s critical that our community continues to safely access essential services, including healthcare and nutrition. Our doors are open to care for our patients and this program provides our organization with a valuable opportunity to share this message with our most vulnerable community members. Participation in this program will empower Tampa Family Health Centers to continuously provide our patients with the highest quality care – before, during, and after COVID-19.”
