Tampa Flag Football Teams Featured In Nike Super Bowl Commercial
Here's a glimpse of some of the commercials you can expect to see Super Bowl Sunday.

TAMPA, FL — While the Super Bowl action will take place on the Raymond James Stadium football field, just as many eyes will be on the commercials in between the plays.
One commercial fans won't see is a Budweiser commercial. Budweiser announced it will not run a commercial during the Super Bowl for the first time in 37 years. Instead, Budweiser plans to use the marketing dollars to support coronavirus vaccine awareness and access.
However, Tampa Bay football fans will see some familiar faces in this year's commercials including members of the Alonso and Robinson High School flag football teams, who will be featured in a Nike commercial.

From their headbands to their cleats, Nike sponsored the two girls' football teams in 2020, providing about $22,000 worth of uniforms and equipment to each school. It's the first time the company has sponsored high school flag football teams.
Alonso is the two-time defending 2A state champion, winning titles in 2018 and 2019.

The ad is part of Nike’s new campaign to inspire girls to play football. Nike is teaming up with the NFL to provide a $5 million grant to help bring girls flag football to every high school in America.
