TAMPA, FL — Tampa Hispanic Heritage Inc. has received a donation from the AT&T Foundation toward its higher education scholarship fund for Hispanic students in Tampa Bay.

The mission of Tampa Hispanic Heritage Inc. is to promote, preserve and celebrate Hispanic heritage in Tampa Bay. Founded in 1979, THHI has been serving the community for 42 years (1979-2021) and is the oldest 501(c)3 nonprofit Hispanic cultural organization in Tampa Bay.

THHI serves as an umbrella for Tampa Bay Area Hispanic groups and other interested parties who want to share the Tampa Bay's rich Spanish language, culture and traditions with the community. Each year, the Tampa Hispanic Heritage presents fundraising events that celebrate Hispanic heritage: including the Hispanic Woman and Man of the Year Gala, the Hispanic Leadership Class, and an essay and poster contest.
