Tampa Police Investigate 4 Shootings That Left A Man Dead

Tampa Police are seeking information on four shootings that occurred Tuesday at three locations in the city.

TAMPA, FL — Tampa Police are seeking information on four shootings that occurred Tuesday at three locations in the city.

On Tuesday at about 5 a.m., police responded to reports of gunshots in the 5500 block of North 32nd Street and found a 49-year-old man with a gunshot wound. Officers began providing first aid but the man died.

Then, at 9:14 p.m., police were called to the 3800 block of East Norfolk Street and found two men with gunshot wounds to their upper bodies. They were taken to the hospital where they are expected to recover.

Two minutes later, police received a call about a another shooting less than a mile away on North 40th Street just north of East Fern Street. They found a woman with a gunshot to the upper body. She was taken to the hospital in serious condition.

Police say the last three shootings appear to be related and the victims targeted.

Detectives are attempting to gather evidence and witness statements at all the locations of th shootings.

Anyone with information on any of these cases is asked to contact Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay at 800-873-Tips or report anonymously online. Those who provide tips that lead to an arrest could be eligible for a $5,000 cash reward.
