Tampa Police Investigate Shooting At Rocky Point
The Land O' Lakes couple were parked at a Rocky Point apartment complex when someone opened fire on them.

TAMPA, FL -- Tampa Police are looking for two men involved in a non-fatal shooting that occurred at about 7:05 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 15, at the Post Rocky Point Apartments.
According to Tampa Police, Justin A. Sierra, 23, and Saraiya J. Garcia, 18, both of Land O' Lakes were parked in Sierra's car at the apartment complex when someone opened fire on them. Sierra was shot but his injuries weren't serious.
Tampa detectives said the shooters knew Sierra and Garcia and had been engaged in an ongoing argument. Sierra, with Garcia in the passenger seat, fled to the parking lot of the Bahama Breeze restaurant at 3045 Rocky Point Drive and the shooters followed them. When Sierra ran inside the restaurant to get help, the shooters tried to carjack Sierra's car with Garcia still inside. They then fled in their own car before police arrived.
