Tampa Police Make Arrest In Year-Old Double Homicide
A 25-year-old Tampa man has been arrested in connection with a double homicide in Tampa nearly a year ago.

TAMPA, FL —A 25-year-old Tampa man has been arrested in connection with a double homicide in Tampa nearly a year ago.
Darris Lamando Walker of Sanford Court is accused of fatally shooting Marcus Bowden, 22 and Albertlean East, 27, on Aug. 31, 2018.
Police responded to a home at 9509 N. 10th St. around 9:30 p.m. and found Bowden and East shot. Bowden died at the scene. East was transported to the hospital where she died a short time later.

During the investigation, detectives learned that Bowden had gotten into an argument with a man during the night. Walker, who was not directly involved in the argument, shot Bowden. East ran to Bowden's side and Walker shot her as well, said detectives.
Walker was arrested early Monday and charged with first-degree murder, second-degree murder and felon in possession of a firearm.
