Tampa Ranked 4th Best Place For Weddings

TAMPA, FL — Tampa is the place to be if it’s time to say those wedding vows.

In fact, the city was named the fourth best place in the nation to get married, according to WalletHub.

Analysts from the website, dedicated to all things personal finance-related, wanted to see which locations across the country are the most wedding-friendly. When all was said and done, Orlando, earned first-place honors. Nearby Tampa didn’t trail by much with its fourth-place spot.

WalletHub’s analysis looked at 150 of the country’s biggest cities. They were ranked based on such factors as wedding costs, activities and attractions, and available wedding facilities and services.

Tampa ranked 32nd in wedding cost, 17th in facilities and services, and fifth in activities and attractions, the website reported.

Other entries in the Top 5 were Las Vegas, Atlanta and Springfield, MO. St. Petersburg ranked 39th overall.

The bottom five includes Anchorage, Alaska, Worcester, Mass., Newark, N.J., Yonkers, N.Y. and Moreno Valley, Calif.
