Tampa Residents Urged To 'Keep It Clean' Saturday

Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful​ and the city of Tampa are partnering for a citywide cleanup Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon.

TAMPA, FL — Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful and the city of Tampa are partnering for a citywide cleanup Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon.

Volunteers are welcome to help clean up their own neighborhoods or sign up for one of the sites below:

  • Cheney Park at 801 E Yukon St., Tampa
  • Borrell Park at 808 E 26th Ave., Tampa
  • Gadsden Park at 6901 S MacDill Ave., Tampa
  • Grant Park at 3724 N 54th St., Tampa

A cleanup at Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park, 1001 N Riverfront Park, Tampa, is for kayakers only. Residents with their own kayaks are invited to launch from Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park.

The city of Tampa will have boats on the water starting at 9 a.m. to collect trash from kayakers.

All cleaning supplies will be provided.

Participants should bring:

  • Sunscreen
  • A hat
  • Sunglasses
  • And closed-toed shoes are required.
