Tampa Riverfest To Host Game 4 Lightning Playoff Watch Party

TAMPA, FL – Tampa Riverfest and the Tampa Bay Lightning will partner to bring the official Game 4 playoff watch party to Curtis Hixon Park Friday, May 4, from 7 to 9 p.m. during the fourth annual Tampa Riverfest.

Presented by Friends of the Riverwalk in conjunction with the City of Tampa, the Tampa Riverfest will take place Friday and Saturday, May 4 and 5, along the length of the Riverwalk in Curtis Hixon Park in downtown Tampa.

Events include a full concert line-up, a Wiener Dog Derby, a hot-air balloon glow, the Gasparilla Stand-up Paddle Board Invasion, a Tampa Bay Pride Band Performance, Taco Fest, Taste of the Riverwalk, Hillsborough County Schools music performances, and more.

Additionally, many of the venues, museums, bars and restaurants in downtown Tampa will have special activities during the Tampa Riverfest.

More than eight bands are booked for the mainstage in Curtis Hixon Park with the headliners being The Black Honkeys and The Spazmatics on Friday and Saturday, respectively.

On Friday from 6 to 8 p.m., a new signature event called the Taste of the Riverwalk will feature samples from local restaurants and bars that are located on or near the Riverwalk. Taste of the Riverwalk wristbands are available for purchase and include unlimited signature samples from participating restaurants (while supplies last). Purchase wristbands here.

With Corona as the official beer sponsor and May 5t being Cinco de Mayo, the festival has added several festive elements including a Taco Fest Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Taco Fest wristbands seel for $10 for three tacos and $15 for five tacos. They may be purchased in advance here.

A VIP Hospitality event will include unlimited beer, Tito’s handmade vodka drinks, food and front-row access to the main stage. Tickets can be purchased here.
