Tampa Speakeasy, Ciro's, Closes After 15 Years
Ciro's, a Tampa speakeasy, has closed after 15 years in business because of structural issues to the building it rented.

TAMPA, FL — A popular Tampa speakeasy has closed its doors after 15 years.
Initially, Ciro’s temporarily closed last month because of renovations at the 100-year-old Bayshore Royal building at 2109 Bayshore Blvd., where it was located, with no reopening date in sight, the restaurant, which launched in 2009, wrote on Instagram in March.
This week, though, the high-end cocktail bar’s parent company, Three Oaks Hospitality, announced Ciro’s permanent closure at that location because of structural issues to the building.

“Thank you all for the memories that made Ciro’s unforgettable. This isn’t goodbye, it’s see you later,” reads a post on Ciro’s Instagram page.
Three Oaks continues to offer a similar experience at Ciro’s sister concept, Jekyll, in Hyde Park.
