Tampa Theatre Letting Fans Pick Holiday Classic Movie

The results of online voting will determine the final movie screened during the annual holiday series.

The Tampa Theatre has added a twist to its annual holiday classics lineup of movies. Not only has the event expanded from four to five weeks, but fans get to pick the final movie.

The Holiday Classics series kicks off Nov. 30 at 3 p.m. when “Miracle on 34th Street” hits the big screen.

  • “Holiday Inn” – Dec. 7 at 3 p.m.
  • “White Christmas” – Dec. 14 at 3 p.m.
  • “It’s a Wonderful Life” – Dec. 19 at 7:30 p.m.

An online poll to determine the fifth and final movie in the series is being conducted now. The possibilities are:

  • “The Santa Clause”
  • “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation”
  • “Home Alone”

The fifth and final movie will be screened Dec. 28. The theater is also asking for suggestions for next year’s Holiday Classics series.

To vote, just go to the theater’s Survey Monkey poll. Voting closes at noon on Friday, Nov. 7.
